OVERALL SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Securefact is a trusted provider of technology, managed services, and advisory services in multiple financial industries.  Our area of expertise is helping onboard, process and manage new clients while staying in compliance with an ever-changing regulatory environment.

Reporting to the vice President, Sale, the Business Development Representative is process driven and sales oriented who will grow our business, and able to initiate, qualify and develop new business leads for the Account Executive Team.  Working with the Account Executives, create and prioritize business target market, position the value proposition and generate attention and interest for Securefact products among the target market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Accountable for generating qualified leads which will then be passed over to an Account Executive
  • Main goal of this role is to cold call and set up discovery meetings for Account Executives
  • Create cold calling lists, prioritize target markets and generate demand
  • Sell the Discovery meeting – Simply get qualified face to face meetings for our Account Executives to attend in person
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas and sales lead objectives
  • Develop and document strategy to build a pipeline of leads within defined target prospects
  • Create demand for Securefact services within a defined territory
  • Drive the communication/contact process through to point where a Discovery meeting is secured
  • Complete all weekly pipeline and activity reporting in accordance with Securefact’s forecasting cadence
  • Monitor and qualify incoming leads via website
  • Conduct quarterly check-ins with new customers

REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a Sales Lead Generation role
  • Strong demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, PCMLTFA. OSFI and FINTRAC guidelines would be an asset
  • Strong desire to be professional in sales

OVERALL SUMMARY/PURPOSE

The Database Analyst will perform analysis activities and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency.  Is responsible for providing various database support activities, working with vendors to complete installation and configuration tasks, as well as participating in design, implementation, and management.   Administers database servers and support personnel by performing database development and operational support tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs analysis and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency
  • Designs databases and develops various types of database objects including; tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, functions, and indexes
  • Assists IS staff in optimizing database objects and ensuring programming standards
  • Monitors and reviews application and database servers to ensure optimal operation and adherence to appropriate security policy
  • Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and departmental staff
  • Analyzes and documents problems, recommends solutions, and initiates corrective action
  • Provides application support and enhancements to existing applications
  • Coordinates with IS staff and vendors to assess, install, test, and maintain computer software systems
  • Produces system design, implementation, and security documentation

  • Experience in systems analysis, change management, and documentation
  • Experience with relational databases (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server) is required
  • Well versed in the Structured Query Language (SQL) and must possess proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of structured programming techniques, networking and database methodologies preferred, along with the proven ability to handle simultaneous projects is essential
  • Display excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as well as the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Five (5) years’ experience in systems design, implementation, and change management
  • Three (3) years’ experience in database administration and development preferred
