David Sudbury, CEO
David is highly regarded for his long and successful career in the Canadian automotive industry that saw him drive results at Honda Canada within both the sales and captive finance units. Additionally, he has served as a director of the Canadian Finance and Leasing Association (CFLA) and currently serves as vice chair of Central East Local Health Integration Network (Central East LHIN), as well as Chair of the Audit and CEO Performance Committees of the board. His many accomplishments include being recognized as a 'Human Resources Top Leader' by the Toronto Human Resources Professionals Association in 2009 and a 'Lifetime Achievement Award' from the Canadian Auto Marketing Forum in 2010. David is a change agent and he excels at building organizational structures that optimize quality, cost, efficiency and the delivery of corporate objectives.
The Hon. J. Trevor Eyton, Director
Trevor is a corporate director who most recently served as a Member of the Senate of Canada from 1990 until his retirement in 2009. He is highly respected for his lengthy service with Brascan Limited, now known as Brookfield Asset Management, a Canadian-based, global asset manager focused on property, renewable power and infrastructure assets, with over $100 billion in assets. He served as Brascan's President and Chief Executive Officer (1979 to 1991), as well as its Chairman and Senior Chairman (until 1997). In addition to serving on Magna's Board, Trevor serves on Brookfield's board as well as a number of public companies. He also serves as Honourary Chairman of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame and as a Governor of the Canadian Olympic Foundation. He has been appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada and Queen's Counsel for Ontario.
Don Marshall, Vice President and CFO
Don brings a wealth of senior level financial and risk management experience to Securefact. He has been involved as a Chief Executive Officer and a Senior Executive, in early-stage businesses in technology, healthcare, software, and publishing. He has also been a Senior Financial Executive at a Canadian subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company and has held the position of Vice-President at one of Canada's largest management holding companies. Don is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a CA designation and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business. His undergraduate degree was completed at McGill University.
Gregory Belton, Director
Greg is currently Executive Chair of HUB International HKMB a global insurance brokerage and Canada's largest insurance brokerage. Greg is also Executive Chair of HUB Ontario, and an insurance and financial services veteran with over 30 years of industry experience and an active leader in his community, as Chair of the International Trustees of The Duke of Edinburgh Awards, a director of the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation and is Co-Chairman of the Curators' Circle Committee at the Art Gallery of Ontario. He is currently a member of the World Presidents' Organization (WPO) and was formerly Chairman of the Upper Canada Chapter of YPO. He has been appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada
Glenn Harvey, Director
Glenn is currently a partner in a mid-market private investment fund. His experience in assessing the viability of a business investment in conjunction with his knowledge of capital markets and finance has made him an invaluable resource for investment decisions. Prior to entering the venture capital sector, he successfully ran and sold two businesses in the fiber optics industry and understands the challenges faced by small and medium sized businesses from the perspective of both investor and entrepreneur.
